Musiq Soulchild Presents ‘CHRISTMAS MUSIQ’

Atlantic recording artist Musiq Soulchild has announced the release of “CHRISTMAS MUSIQ,” an all-new collection of holiday classics performed in his inimitable genre-blurring style. The 7-track album is available now at all digital music retailers, including iTunes and Amazon.com.

“CHRISTMAS MUSIQ” sees the multi-platinum superstar putting his unique stamp on such seasonal staples as “Jingle Bells,” “O Holy Night,” and “The First Noel.” The collection follows 2008’s acclaimed “ONMYRADIO” and 2007’s RIAA gold-certified Atlantic debut, “LUVANMUSIQ,” which debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200.

Musiq — who was recently nominated as “Best Male R&B/Soul Male” at this year’s Soul Train Music Awards — is currently hard at work on his much-anticipated sixth album. The as-yet-untitled collection — which features production from chart-topping songwriter/producer Jack Knight (Diddy, Keyshia Cole, Mario Winans) — is slated for release in 2010.
